Tech Changing Business
Businesses are changing with the evolving times and the resources available to them. The businesses that stay in the game are the ones that are able to keep up and use the technology that is emerging whether it be the hardware such as tablets or the software in the field of mobile applications or cloud services. It is important for businesses to know that their customers are looking to see if they are keeping up and can be seamlessly integrated in their lives. Cloud services changed the way we see accessibility. We are now able to get to our documents and any type of data through any device. Another piece of technology that is changing the landscape is big data. Businesses are able to see the trends and the big picture of the people that they are selling their goods and services to. Lastly, we no longer need to knock on doors or make cold calls to find our prospective customers. We can locate them instantly, see what they are talking about (and what matters to them) and connect and engage with them in real time.

Taking Care of Your Computer Battery
When you plug your laptop in for the first time, you should make sure to fully charge it once to calibrate it. But after that, aim to keep it between 40 and 80 percent. Whenever you prop your laptop up on your bed, couch or lap, you’re likely blocking the airflow. This, in turn, causes the computer to overheat. And overheating will screw up your battery life. So the bottom line is to make sure your computer is fairly cool. Most companies are constantly looking for ways to improve battery life via software development updates. If you are planning on leaving your laptop for an extending period of time, you know, for trekking around the world, trying to find the meaning of life that is not fully accessible over the internet, there is a better way to store it. You should store it with a 50 percent charge in a consistently cool area. Storing the computer with a fully discharged battery might ruin the battery forever. And storing it with an absolutely full charge might cut the battery’s lifespan short.

Some More Security Tips
People should make sure there are no bushes or trees covering low-level
windows that would shield a burglar's attempt to enter, or have tall
branches that would give burglars the ability to climb up to a second
story window, which tend to be left unlocked. On the other hand, if you really want to have bushes around your home, you should go for something that is thorny and painful. First make sure that they are legal in your state, of course. Those firethorn bushes with the red berries should do the trick considering that the thorns are about an inch long. Another thing that you can do is put out a Beware of Dog sign. You do not even need to have a dog. It can deter the person and make them think twice if they want to enter a house with a horrible dog in there. Speaking of sign, you could also put an NRA sticker in the window. Once again this bright person that is set on breaking and entering might just think a little harder on it. What other things do you know of that are low tech and do not require a mobile application or some sophisticated software development?
Make Burglars Avoid Your House
When it comes breaking and entering, people will try to use some deduction as to what house to go into and which ones to avoid. For example, the house at the end of a dusty road that is in the middle of nowhere will be a much better target than one on a busy street in the middle of town. This is not to say that we should all relocate but there are certain things that you can do to deter these burglars. First of all, it might be a good idea to keep the shades down at night and when you leave the house. At night and when you go out of town, make sure to keep some lights on to make it look like someone is home. You could even use the Nest devices that connect to a mobile application so that you have full control of the switches in your house. As far the outside lights go, have floodlights with motion sensors. It can be a great deterrent. Also, if you are away, have the post office hold your mail or have a friend pick it up for you.

Be That Success Story
So how do you become the success story? One of the first things that you need to do is do more than is required of you. You should go above and beyond the call of duty and make themselves invaluable. And when things do not go their way, successful people do not give up. They try something new. They persist. You should also surround yourself with people that are like minded as well as find yourself a mentor. This will enable you to get to your goals and you will be help accountable. Lastly, it is important to never stop learning and upgrading skills. You need to keep up with the news of your industry and stay on the cutting edge, whether it is in gaming application development or in biological sciences. In order to do that, always keep reading and YouTube can be your best friend. Do you have any more suggestions?

iPhone Reviews
So it has been a couples weeks with that new iPhone, whether you got the regular one or the one that supposedly bends. The one is so large that the fashion industry is thinking of making larger pockets and if you are used to a 3.5 inch screen, the massive one can be a really big change The rants and ravings have been coming in but which is greater? The responses say that users are happy with the larger iPhone but it took some getting used to. Another great part of the iPhone 6 Plus is that it eliminates the need for an iPad mini. The bigger screen is great for using mobile applications and many different business applications. I think it comes down to what you really do on the iPhone. The bigger screen might be great for things like designing and creating things that require a lot of visual attention. On the other hand, the smaller iPhone might be easier to handle with one hand but there might be cases that help with that problem.

Be Resistant to Stress
Stress is part of life, we all know that. And sometimes it can come in handy and can be a great thing. Too much of it and we cannot perform to our abilities. We have all heard that exercise can help reduce stress because o the chemicals that are released that mitigate the release of other chemicals which encourage stress. It is not as if you are going to be getting up at 4 am in the morning to get a thirty minute run in before heading to work, I get it. On the other hand, there are some small changes that you can make in your daily routine. You can walk while you are reading emails. Just make sure that you are paying attention to the traffic and where you are walking. Always take the stairs instead of riding the elevator. It will keep you from having to be crowded into an elevator. You should also stand when you are working whenever you can. There are a lot of standing desks that you can choose from or at least taking standing breaks from all that software development that you do. It burns a lot more calories and it will be better for your back. Lastly, make conferencing rooms without chairs. It will encourage everyone to get to the point.
Sending Post
In today's world, it is so much easier to send a text, an emails, or even use some sort of internet phone service to communicate with someone. It is that much faster. Using the post will ensure that you wait at least two days before the message even gets read. Not to mention the stamp price. It would make one wonder why in the world would you want to even send an actually letter. There are several instances when you might want to use actual paper. Research shows that it leaves more of an impression on people than an electronic version. If you are new to the neighbor or an industry, it might be a great way to introduce yourself. Direct mail is an especially way to get the word out and customers through the door when you're running a promotion that ties in with an event such as a sporting match or a holiday.

Selfies: Let's Clear It Up
If you have not heard of selfies, you either out of touch with reality or been living under a rock or a little bit of both. Simply put, it is a photograph that you take while aiming the camera at yourself. Unfortunately, some photos are being mistaken for selfies. It is actually technology and software companies that solidify words and this particular word first made it on the scene at the turn of the century when people decided to extend their arms with the camera facing the other way. As the cameras got better and smaller, it became a lot easier to do that without dropping a very expensive piece of equipment. Not to mention all the software development and mobile applications that came along when people wanted to make those selfies even better. Is that even possible? At any rate, when the camera leaves your hand and you use a self timer, it stops being a selfie. And a selfie stick does not count by any measure.

The About Us Page of Your Business
So you have started a business, great. Now you even have your very own web page, even better. What does your About Us page look like? Is it missing some very important key elements? Always, always, always include contact information with phone numbers and hours that you are open. This should be front and center on the page. Another thing that you should remember is to write what it is that you do or the services you provide in the first two sentences, and clearly. If you take the time not to waste your customer's time, they might just thank you for it. Consider this your elevator pitch. It is the perfect place to show some of the great things that you have done and press about you. While you are doing that, please do not be boring and have fun and show some personality. This will give your business a more human aspect. It will also help set you apart from the competition. This does not take a web development genius to figure it out.

Take 10 Minutes to Do Nothing
Yes you heard that right, nothing. Most people are running at 100 thoughts a minutes all day without any breaks and that can be disastrous. There have been many studies that show that taking breaks will actually increase productivity and efficiency. Nothing really does mean nothing and no thinking about that web development project. The reason to take breaks is to avoid burnout and possibly seek new perspective on things. Though this nothing can include taking a walk which will be even better. It will get your heart rate up and counter the effects of having to sit in front of the screen all day which can be detrimental to your health. It does not even take that much to improve your health. Not to mention the great mood boost you will experience. A better mood will refresh you even more.

Productivity Hacks
I have talked about increasing productivity before and here are some more tips that might help you in your quest for doing more in less time and enjoying more life. It is important to practice emails and meeting discipline. This means that you should answer an email right away if the response will take a minute or if a task needs to be delegated. Also, if an email results in more than a total of four emails, it would be better to schedule a short meeting or a video conference call. Others have said that it is important to start the days with the things that you are grateful for and run through the to-do list for the day. This means that you might need to wake up 20 minutes earlier but it will be well worth it in the long run. You can also try actually writing down what has to get done instead of using apps and a computer. There is nothing like the pleasure of tearing up the sheet of paper once you have completed all the things on your list.

Lessons From the World Wide Web
With over three billion people online, there are some lessons to be learned. First of all the anonymity creates a certain type of environment where people are horribly honest, mostly with themselves. They are able to show a side of them that otherwise would stay hidden for one reason or another. This honesty also comes with meanness and hatred. On the other hand, you also get to see just how many good people there are in the world. With all the horrible news and current events in the world, it is great to be able to read about the goodness. These days, anyone can have a camera, especially with Google Glass and the internet phone service it comes with. It can also make you a really horrible person if you choose to hit the record button in a situation where you should be helping or just minding your own business. Lastly, we all need to realize that as honest as people can be, the internet still cannot be trusted. Most of the time, when you come across something online that seems too absurdly crazy and outlandish and inflammatory to be true, it isn't.

Monday Mornings
No one really likes them, at all. Most of the time we are somewhat sluggish and hazy. One of the first things that you need to look at is what you did over the weekend. The mind needs sometime to rest and relax without any stress which means that work is the last thing that you should be thinking about. The thinking over the weekend when you chained yourself to the computer to finish that web development project so that you can start on Monday with a clean slate and a fresh start. How well did that go for you? Some rules to be able to boost those creative juices is to set some ground rules such as setting aside time for full disengagement. That means no phone calls, no e-mails, no business reading, no conversations, no focused thinking about work. Another rule is to plan in advance and finish everything that cannot wait.

Cell Phone Privacy Rights
By a 9-0 vote, the justices said smart phones and other electronic
devices were not in the same category as wallets, briefcases, and
vehicles -- all currently subject to limited initial examination by law
enforcement. Generally such searches are permitted if there is "probable cause" that a
crime has been committed, to ensure officers' safety and prevent
destruction of evidence. So if the police cannot sift through the information that is on personal cell phones, why should the federal government be able to do it. Why is there even that distinction? With the advances in technology and software development, the lines are getting blurred and nothing is nearly as black and white. With the changing technology, it is important that laws stays up to date because otherwise there will be grey areas which means that people will be finding loopholes left and right.
Everyone Should Code
Technology and software development is seen everywhere. I mean you are probably read this on either a phone, tablet, or computer. Mostly everything is done online and when was the last time you went more than a day without being online? I thought so. Have you ever been on the other side of technology though where you had to code and create the software? The field is mostly dominated by men and the statistics surrounding that fact are astounding. Part of the question is what happens in grade school and why in the world are girls pushed toward the stereotypical subjects. There needs to be more change. I believe all girls should be exposed to more STEM-related subjects.
Raising the percentage of women who code could potentially create a
positive movement for the way technology is driven. Men and women coding
together will bring balanced insights to create advanced technology
conducive to a healthy and productive lifestyle.

iPhones Getting Better
Is that even possible? I mean I know they have the best mobile applications and the most intuitive system but apparently they can get even better. Apple made a big deal of connecting the Mac and iPhone (and iPad). The company took out much of the hassle of coordinating multiple connected devices. For example, devices using OS X 10 and iOS 8 will "just sense" each other and work together. A call coming in on your iPhone will show up on your Mac, and you'll be able to reply to standard SMS messages without using iMessages. The heightened coordination should improve workflow, enabling you to start a document on one device and move to a different one halfway through. If you're working on an email on your Mac and move to the iPad, you'll be able to flick up on the lock screen to finish the email and send from that device. Another great thing coming the iPhone is easier typing that actually learns from your speech patterns and who it is that you are talking with. For the first time, Apple will also be allowing third party keyboards to be used system-wide. That means Swype, a very popular keyboard for Android, and many more will soon be available for iPhone users.

Tips for Video Conferencing
If you are chatting with a friend or doing an interview, it is important, and no small feat, to look presentable when video conferencing. I sincerely hope that some app development comes out along those lines, but in the mean time check out these tips:
1. Lighting always matters. You don’t want it directly on you; rather, keep your light source diffused. Instead of opening a window, you should have a sheer curtain in front of the window to diffuse the light. That and try to gravitate toward warmer hues. Rarely does anyone look good beneath the harsh beams of an industrial-strength lamp.
2. Make eye contact. Avoiding an unflattering angle also requires you to focus your eyes into the camera. It’s almost human nature for your gaze to wander to that small box with your face in it at the bottom of your screen. Avoid the temptation: Not only is it somewhat rude for the person on the other end, but staring downward can increase the prominence of shadows in your face and make it harder to see your eyes.
Happy Conferencing!

Web Development from AB-Soft
AB-Soft is gaining clients through a variety of experience. One of their latest projects is enigma.org.ua. It is an internet portal for a
women's clothing store, which utilizes complex algorithms of counting
rates depending on the region and the type of buyer, either wholesale or retail.
AB Soft turnkey created the design, programming and implementation of
the product. The Opencart system based on PHP was used in the development of
the product. This latest project shows that the software development company can take on any type of project and in any field. They already have a proven track record with ATN and RingCentral. Another client that they have created a website for is a business flight booking site where business professionals can buy tickets without the hassle of going through the other types of sites.

Internet Problems and Solutions
So you feel horribly unmotivated. The solution? Momentum, a kind of personal dashboard, generates a different "New Tab" screen every day with a photograph of beautiful scenery and a motivational quote. It also provides a space where you can list your goal for the day -- so every time you open a new tab, a reminder of that one thing you need to get done is staring you right in the face. Another issue that everyone is faced with is that there are way too many passwords to remember if we actually make the effort to make them different. LastPass, an award-winning password manager that allows you to save your passwords and categorize them, meaning the only password you'll ever have to remember is your LastPass password. In addition, LastPass also helps you generate stronger passwords and speed up your online shopping by adding credit cards and shopping profiles while you browse. Good thing that the advances in software development help us with passwords and we do not have to carry little sheets of paper in our wallets.

iPhone Tune Up
If you are the person that gets a new phone every time something shiny comes out or lose your phone every couple months, just move along. For the rest of us that keep their phones for more than a year, it might feel like it is running a bit slower than usual. Well do not fret and think that the whole thing needs to have a software development overhaul. There are a couple things that you can do right now to make it run much more smoothly. First of all, get rid of the apps that you do not use and are taking up space on your phone. Also clear the browsing history and cookies which are taking up space. Make sure that you delete your old messages too. In particular, photo and video texts take up space. Lastly, turn off the location services. This is important for speed, battery life and privacy. A lot of apps use
location services to determine where you are, and it's generally not
necessary.
