Be Resistant to Stress

Stress is part of life, we all know that. And sometimes it can come in handy and can be a great thing. Too much of it and we cannot perform to our abilities. We have all heard that exercise can help reduce stress because o the chemicals that are released that mitigate the release of other chemicals which encourage stress. It is not as if you are going to be getting up at 4 am in the morning to get a thirty minute run in before heading to work, I get it. On the other hand, there are some small changes that you can make in your daily routine. You can walk while you are reading emails. Just make sure that you are paying attention to the traffic and where you are walking. Always take the stairs instead of riding the elevator. It will keep you from having to be crowded into an elevator. You should also stand when you are working whenever you can. There are a lot of standing desks that you can choose from or at least taking standing breaks from all that software development that you do. It burns a lot more calories and it will be better for your back. Lastly, make conferencing rooms without chairs. It will encourage everyone to get to the point.
