Take 10 Minutes to Do Nothing

Yes you heard that right, nothing. Most people are running at 100 thoughts a minutes all day without any breaks and that can be disastrous. There have been many studies that show that taking breaks will actually increase productivity and efficiency. Nothing really does mean nothing and no thinking about that web development project. The reason to take breaks is to avoid burnout and possibly seek new perspective on things. Though this nothing can include taking a walk which will be even better. It will get your heart rate up and counter the effects of having to sit in front of the screen all day which can be detrimental to your health. It does not even take that much to improve your health. Not to mention the great mood boost you will experience. A better mood will refresh you even more.

  1. When there are so many things to do with emails, projects, and VoIP service meetings, it is hard to take a break. Everyone should make a real attempt though.

  3. And other times, it is just better to shut off all of the mobile applications. You will discover some interesting things if you unplug.

  4. As a business professional, my phone services and mobile applications are rewiring the phone calls to other devices. Make sure to turn off all of them.
